This course offering is aimed at Intermediate Level students with prior knowledge of German equivalent to the completion of level B1 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), equaling a minimum of approximately 48-60 months of guided casual language study.
Being a mix of carefully selected conversational practice, reading and writing exercises, grammar as well as Landeskunde (cultural studies), this progressive B2.1 level program taught by Hildegard Belzer and including some sessions run by Frauke Guenther is designed to continue to systematically build up students' German language skills in speaking and writing as well as their German listening and reading comprehension in a relaxed, friendly and fun classroom atmosphere.
Over two semesters, our progressive 'German Intermediate B2.1' program starting February 2 is expected to complete the equivalent of the B2.1 sublevel and its respective course book by the end of the year, before moving on to sublevel B2.2 and the follow-on course book from early 2027, allowing interested students to complete their full B2 level German learning journey by the end of 2027!
If you always wanted to continue learning German or consolidate your existing language skills, now may be the time - join us and other keen students on Monday nights!
