This course offering is aimed at lower Intermediate (B1) Level students with prior knowledge of German equivalent to the completion of level A2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), equaling a minimum of approximately 30-36 months of guided casual language study.
Being a mix of carefully selected conversational practice, reading and writing exercises, grammar as well as Landeskunde (cultural studies), this progressive B1.1 level program is designed to continue to systematically build up students' German language skills in speaking and writing as well as their German listening and reading comprehension in a relaxed, friendly and fun classroom atmosphere.
Over two semesters, our 'German Intermediate B1.1' program starting July 28 is expected to complete the equivalent of the B1.1 sublevel and its respective course book by mid next year, before then moving on to sublevel B1.2 and the follow-on course book from mid 2026, allowing interested students to complete their full B1 level German learning journey by mid 2027!
If you always wanted to continue learning German or consolidate your existing language skills, now may be the time - join us and other students on Monday nights!
