Would like to have a bit of a recap of grammatical lingo and concepts? Or simply LOVE grammar? - Then this short workshop-style program may be for you!
Now by students' request extended to four sessions throughout the year scheduled for March 30, June 29, August 31 & October 26, and accompanied by some traditional German Sunday afternoon Kaffee & Kuchen to make grammar even more fun, this enjoyable and highly engaging program will be revising and explaining grammatical terminology and concepts in an approachable way - with plenty of humorous practice opportunities included!
March 30 - GERMAN NOUNS (including CASE, GENDER assignment, PLURAL & general noun formation, CREATIVE COMPOUNDING, pronouns)
June 29 - GERMAN ADJECTIVES (including ADJECTIVE ENDINGS, general adjective formation, COMPARATIVES & SUPERLATIVES, adverbs)
August 31 - GERMAN VERBS (including past, present & future TENSES, verb types & conjugation, subjunctive MOOD, active & passive VOICE)
October 26 - GERMAN CLAUSES (including general SENTENCE STRUCTURE, different types of DEPENDENT CLAUSES in German)
With the course language set to be English and only the examples - of course - given in German, this program can be enjoyed by quite a wide range of students, ranging from approximately upper A1 to C levels (CEFRL)!
Whilst participation in all four sessions is naturally encouraged and recommended for all, interested students are welcome to pick and choose any of these separately designed Sunday afternoons to their liking and availability.
