This weekend immersion program, set to also involve some traditional German Sunday afternoon 'Kaffee & Kuchen' as well as an (optional) joint Saturday 'Mittagessen', will give students the opportunity to practise and enhance their German language and 'Landeskunde' (cultural) skills in a fun and relaxed classroom atmosphere in all four aspects of language learning - speaking, listening, reading & writing.
All of the separately designed but jointly themed three extended teaching sessions, which in this year’s ‘German Immersion Weekend’ will be revolving around carefully selected interactive and fun language and culture based ‘Spiele’ (games), will allow students to ‘bathe’ in the German language, with little if any focus on grammar, aiming to maximise their language input & output and to help build confidence and language flow.
This colourful program scheduled to be run by three different teachers is designed for adult students with a minimum of approximately 2 years of guided language study, who wish to practise and apply what they have learnt so far in a relaxed, encouraging and fully immersive German classroom environment.
