This course offering is aimed at lower Intermediate (B1) Level students with prior knowledge of German beyond the equivalent of the completion of level A2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), amounting to a minimum of around 36 months of guided casual language study.
Whilst designed as a seamless continuation from Semester 1 of our ongoing, currently B1.1 level 'German on Mondays 2024' class, this program is also very much open to and warmly welcoming new similar level students seeking to continue learning German and to consolidate their existing language skills at any time.
Being a mix of carefully selected conversational practice, reading and writing exercises, grammar as well as Landeskunde (cultural studies), this progressive program is designed to continue to systematically build up students' German language skills in speaking and writing as well as their German listening and reading comprehension in a relaxed, friendly and fun classroom atmosphere.
Having worked through the first half of the B1.1 sublevel during Semester 1, our 'German on Mondays 2024' class is now expected to complete the equivalent of B1.1 and its respective course book during the second half of this year, before moving on to sublevel B1.2 and the follow-on course book throughout 2025, allowing interested students to complete their full B1 level German learning journey by the end of 2025.
If you always wanted to continue learning German and consolidate your existing language skills, now may be the time - join us and other intermediate level students on Monday nights!
