This course offering is aimed at lower Intermediate (B1) Level students with prior knowledge of German equivalent to the completion of level A2 within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL), equaling a minimum of approximately 30-36 months of guided casual language study.
Being a mix of carefully selected conversational practice, reading and writing exercises, grammar as well as Landeskunde (cultural studies), this progressive B1.1 level program is designed to continue to systematically build up students' German language skills in speaking and writing as well as their German listening and reading comprehension in a relaxed, friendly and fun classroom atmosphere.
Over two semesters, our 'German on Mondays 2024' program is expected to complete the equivalent of the B1.1 sublevel and its respective course book by the end of the year, before moving on to level B1.2 and the follow-on course book throughout 2025, allowing interested students to complete their B1 level German learning journey by the end of 2025.
