This exclusive all-day German Heritage Bus Tour with professional German-Australian Genealogist & Historian Ben Hollister, and accompanied by our own Frauke Guenther, explores the history of the first stable communities of Germans in Australia, which were formed by four groups of Prussian Lutherans following Pastor Kavel to South Australia.
Following in their footsteps (by bus!) from landing to living spaces, and with commentary from letters and diaries as well as through images, maps and plans along the way, you will be able to imagine the 'Dörfer' (villages) as they were.
Main places visited will be Port Misery, Klemzig, Hahndorf, Kavel’s Lookout and Glen Osmond.
Morning Tea & Lunch at Hahndorf included!
